Despite his legendary skill, Arjuna could not defeat the hunter. Realizing his opponent was no ordinary mortal, Arjuna fashioned a Shiva Linga from clay and offered a garland to it. To his shock, the garland appeared around the hunter’s neck. Lord Shiva revealed his true form, praising Arjuna's prowess and humility. Pleased by his dedication, Shiva granted Arjuna the Pashupatastra, the most powerful celestial weapon.
